Ben Vereen's 80th Birthday Celebration
About This Event
Ben Vereen, whose career emerged on New York stages — from the original Broadway company of Jesus Christ Superstar to a Tony-winning turn in Pippin — marks his 80th birthday with a live celebration at NJPAC. Known for blending theatrical storytelling and the precision of a dancer, Vereen treats concert performance as a sequence of scenes, a perspective that will shape this anniversary appearance.
