Keyboardist and producer David Garfield brings a compact, song- and groove-centered set to The Bitter End, leading a small ensemble with James Genus on bass, Shawn Pelton on drums, and guitarist Davide Pannozzo.

James Genus is a bassist whose work moves between jazz, rock, and pop settings, with a steady presence in New York City’s working music scene. He is known for his role with the Saturday Night Live Band and for frequent session work that puts him in changing ensembles and tight arrangements.

Shawn Pelton is a drummer working across rock and pop, often drawn into the blues-leaning side of New York’s club scene. At the Iridium, he has appeared in Les Paul Birthday Week lineups alongside guitarist Robben Ford and the Oz Noy Organ Trio, with organist Brian Charette.

Davide Pannozzo is a New York City–based rock and pop musician whose recorded work also leans into modern blues. At The Bitter End, he has appeared in David Garfield’s small-ensemble setting alongside bassist James Genus and drummer Shawn Pelton.
