Theo Kandel
About This Event
Theo Kandel plays Mercury Lounge with Kate Stephenson on the bill. Both are New York–based singer-songwriters working in a guitar-forward, story-minded strain of downtown rock; their sets favor direct melodies, conversational phrasing and tight pacing that suit small-club rooms. The lineup underscores a preference for clarity over spectacle and an ear for lyric detail in close quarters.
