Pitchback Playback: ROSALÍA "LUX" [Early Session—UPSTAIRS]

LUX is a live program at Public Records in Brooklyn, framed less as a single-genre night than as a study in overlap. The lineup—Agonis, Kamran Sadeghi, Kat Offline, NASTIA, and Ayanna Heaven—moves between electronic structures, jazz phrasing, and hip-hop/R&B sensibilities, treating the room as an instrument. In a city where scenes often run in parallel, LUX makes their shared vocabulary audible. Its value is in the pacing and restraint, allowing contrast to read as narrative rather than backdrop.
