About Yuhan Su

Yuhan Su is a New York City–based jazz vibraphonist and composer with roots in Gongguan, Miaoli, Taiwan, and formative years in Taipei. She came to the United States in 2008 to study at Berklee College of Music, then built a practice that moves between jazz language and freer improvisation. At NYC rooms such as Bar Bayeux, she has performed with bassist Luke Stewart and drummer Mark Whitfield Jr. Her playing favors precision and open space over spectacle.
