About Son Lux

Son Lux began as composer Ryan Lott’s solo project before becoming a collaborative group working across post-rock, electronics, and scored narrative forms. Early releases established a rhythm-forward language that moves between programmed detail and live-band weight. In New York City they appear at Pioneer Works in a dance-centered program, placing their music in direct conversation with choreography and spatial design. Their approach favors structure and pulse over rock spectacle.
