Rusko is the stage name of Christopher William Mercer, a British electronic music producer and DJ who came up through the UK club circuit. In New York City he appears at SILO, presenting live electronic sets that move between DJ technique and producer-driven performance. His bills have placed him alongside artists such as Dane Deveraux, DJEFF, Infekt, Michael Trotter, Tasha Blank, and Oscar L and Oscar G, as well as Cristian Arango. His approach favors direct rhythmic pressure over spectacle, with bass and structure doing most of the work.
