Matt Evans' Aquatic House: Performing Group in New York

About Matt Evans' Aquatic House

Matt Evans’ Aquatic House is a New York City–based electronic project that works at the edge of electroacoustic, ambient, and experimental practice. In live settings, including performances at Union Pool, the group leans on improvisation and careful sound design rather than fixed song form. The project has shared bills with artists such as Eliot Krimsky and Kirin McElwain, placing it in a local circuit where contemporary composition and DIY electronics overlap. The music favors texture and spatial detail over spectacle.
