Harlem Globetrotters: Performing Artist in New York

About Harlem Globetrotters

The Harlem Globetrotters are an exhibition basketball team that treats the court like a stage, blending practiced ball-handling with comedy and set-piece theatrics. Founded in the United States and built through decades of touring, they have taken their format around the world, often squaring off against familiar foil teams designed to keep the action flowing. In New York City, they bring that hybrid of sport and performance to arenas such as Barclays Center and Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum. Their shows favor clarity of storytelling over competitive stakes.
