Cyndi Lauper: Singer-Songwriter in New York

About Cyndi Lauper

Cyndi Lauper is an American rock and pop singer-songwriter whose catalog spans a dozen studio albums and decades of recording and touring. Her work is defined by a wide vocal range and an instinct for character-driven phrasing, often treating pop songs as short narratives. In New York City, she appears at Town Hall as part of *The 46th Annual John Lennon Tribute: A Benefit for Theatre Within*, joining other artists to interpret Lennon’s writing, with whom she has also shared the stage. Her performances favor clarity over spectacle.
