Toomey,: Comedian in New York

About Toomey,

Toomey is a New York–based performer working at the seam between comedy and rock/pop songwriting. They appear at Union Hall, including on *Good God*, a rotating bill that pairs stand-up and actor Aasif Mandvi with a changing lineup of small-room, voice-forward writers. Onstage, Toomey moves easily among collaborators like Naomi, Brittany, Carney, Marcus, Coleman, and Akeem, treating the set as both a show and a conversation. Their work favors clear phrasing over spectacle.
