Carney, and: Comedian in New York

About Carney, and

Carney is a New York City–based rock/pop artist who appears on small-room bills at Union Hall, including the rotating Good God night. Their sets often share the stage with performers such as Naomi, Brittany, Marcus, Coleman, Akeem, and Aasif Mandvi, placing songwriting in close proximity to comedy and spoken presence. Carney’s approach leans on tight arrangements and direct vocals rather than layered production. The performance style favors clarity over spectacle.
