Free the Witness is a group working across Rock/Pop and freer, less fixed structures. In New York City they have appeared at Sleepwalk, on bills that also included Bloody Your Hands and Car Bomb Parade, and have shared event lineups under those titles. Their sets move between song form and open-ended passages, letting shifts in texture do the narrative work. The approach favors momentum and contrast over polish, with space for improvisation inside a band framework.
