About Daya

Daya is the stage name of Grace Martine Tandon, a singer-songwriter who emerged from the Pittsburgh suburb of Mt. Lebanon and moved quickly from early singles to a 2015 self-titled EP. Her breakout track “Hide Away” brought her onto pop radio, followed by the 2016 album *Sit Still, Look Pretty*. She also became widely known as the featured voice on The Chainsmokers’ “Don’t Let Me Down,” a global hit that broadened her reach beyond solo work. Live, including at NYC’s Baby’s All Right, she leans on clean vocal lines and direct songwriting over spectacle.
