Daya — the stage name of Grace Martine Tandon — emerged from the Pittsburgh suburb of Mt. Lebanon with a 2015 EP and the breakout single "Hide Away." Known for the 2016 album Sit Still, Look Pretty and for her vocal feature on The Chainsmokers' "Don't Let Me Down," she favors clear melodic lines and direct songwriting live. She brings that approach to Baby's All Right, leaning on songcraft rather than spectacle.
