About Shaun J. Wright
Shaun J. Wright is a Chicago-rooted DJ, producer, vocalist, and dancer whose work moves between house traditions and ballroom practice. In New York City he is a recurring presence in late-night rooms such as Nowadays, Green Room NYC, and BASEMENT, often sharing bills with selectors and live acts including Binh, Vlada, Vladimir Ivkovic, and Rahaan. His sets treat the dance floor as choreography, cutting between vocal energy, rhythmic discipline, and communal release. The approach favors momentum and clarity over spectacle.
