Your Arms Are My Cocoon is the experimental project of Tyler Odom, a Chicago-based musician working at the crossroads of rock and pop. The music folds bedroom-pop intimacy into the abrasiveness of screamo, treating softness and rupture as parts of the same language. At Madison Square Garden, that private, home-recorded sensibility is recast at arena scale, a telling contrast in a city built on volume and proximity. No documented NYC premiere history is widely established, but the set reads as a small-room form brought into public view.
