At ShapeShifter Lab, drummer and composer Nate Rappaport presents *Welcome To My Garden* alongside his ongoing project, *The Primordial Sessions*. The dance work threads rhythmic structures drawn from varied cultural lineages with a practice shaped by meditation, nature study, and spiritual inquiry. Rather than treating percussion as accompaniment, it frames timekeeping as a shared environment the dancers move inside, a choice that gives the piece its clearest logic. No NYC premiere history has been announced for this run.
