A Very Alyssa Christmas

1 upcoming performance in New York

Now at Gramercy Theatre, *A Very Alyssa Christmas* brings Alyssa Edwards to a New York stage in a seasonal drag-theater frame. Edwards is the performance identity of Justin Dwayne Lee Johnson, shaped by Texas pageantry circuits and formal dance training, with earlier work as a choreographer before wider recognition through *RuPaul’s Drag Race*, *All Stars*, the web series *Alyssa’s Secret*, and a recent franchise win. In NYC, holiday programming is often tradition-first; this show treats tradition as material to be reworked, not simply repeated. The result sits between play and persona study, using performance as both ornament and autobiography.
