This is a Low

0 upcoming performances in New York

“This is a Low” lands at Freddy’s Bar as part of the city’s working circuit of nightly performance, where the room shifts between open mic sets, karaoke, and rotating showcases. The calendar includes Mimsey’s Open Mic on the 1st and 3rd Sundays (music, comedy, poetry), a comedy open mic on Mondays and Wednesdays, Humans Against Music, and “So What Happened Was…,” a monthly storytelling series held on third Mondays after the comedy show. In New York, scenes like this are where new work gets tested in public, long before it has a formal premiere history. The one constant is the mix: styles collide, and the audience becomes a quiet measure of what holds.
