Str8 to DVD: The Hex Sling

1 upcoming performance in New York

Str8 to DVD: The Hex Sling lands at C’mon Everybody as a live electronic bill with whatever mike, Moorea Masa, The Mood, BEAR BELLY, and Hilary Duff. The title suggests a camp-media frame, but the structure is closer to a scene document: short sets, quick handoffs, and a room that becomes the instrument. No specific NYC premiere history is widely documented for this edition, but it reads as part of the city’s long habit of turning small stages into testing grounds for new club vocabularies. The most telling detail is the lineup itself, built for contrast rather than cohesion.
