Spectrum is a public installation event by visual artist Queen Andrea, presented at Hudson Yards in New York City on April 21, 2025, with free admission. The work treats “spectrum” not as a single category but as a field of related states, where differences in intensity and proximity matter as much as labels. In a city that often sorts people and cultures into neat boxes, it offers a quieter model: continuity over certainty. Its cultural significance is still emerging, but it reads as a timely NYC study in how we classify experience.
