*Raymonda* is a late-19th-century Russian grand ballet in three acts, set in a medieval world of courtly loyalty, temptation, and an arranged marriage tested by an outsider’s challenge. Created for prima ballerina Pierina Legnani, it pairs Marius Petipa’s formal classicism with Alexander Glazunov’s symphonic score.
