Poor Little Rich Girl

“Poor Little Rich Girl” arrives in New York as a comedy set at New York Comedy Club – Midtown, with featured performers including Tori Piskin, Pauly Shore, Judy Gold, and Michael Kosta. The title nods to an older New York art-world reference point, recalling how Warhol once used it to frame a portrait of fame and class, though this version works in the language of stand-up rather than film. Piskin, raised in the city and now based in Los Angeles, brings an outsider-insider perspective back to a Midtown room. The show treats privilege and persona as material, and that restraint is what gives the premise its edge.
