The roster moves from ensemble work by We Got Us to Michael Foster with Strings, with additional sets by David Moore, Emilio Modeste and Friends, and Raphael Rogiński’s reading of John Coltrane as a compositional source. The evening treats the concert hall as a flexible site rather than a fixed tradition, where notation, improvisation, and arrangement share the same frame. It also reads as a small document of how NYC’s classical scene now absorbs jazz lineage without needing to rename it.
