The Past and the Curious Live

1 upcoming performance in New York

At Lincoln Center Kids, *The Past and the Curious Live* brings the podcast’s offbeat American histories to the stage in a format built for younger listeners and their adults. Performers narrate strange, often overlooked episodes from the past, using sound, music, and simple theatrical tools to make research feel immediate. There is no widely documented New York City premiere history for this production, but its presence at Lincoln Center signals how children’s programming is expanding to include documentary storytelling. Its strongest point is its respect for kids as serious listeners.
