Lyd Marie's Summer Cabaret

0 upcoming performances in New York

At Sleepwalk in Brooklyn, Lyd Marie’s Summer Cabaret centers on songs from the singer-songwriter’s debut, self-produced album, presented in a club setting that blurs concert and cabaret. Her writing carries traces of afrobeat, neo-soul, and folk Americana, even as the night is framed under Electronic. The set uses layered harmonies and narrative lyrics to pull genre into conversation rather than keep it in separate lanes. No specific NYC premiere history is documented, but it reads as a local snapshot of a hybrid scene still defining its terms.
