Lily Lavalocks’ Luscious & Ludicrous

0 upcoming performances in New York

“Lily Lavalocks’ Luscious & Ludicrous” sits in the living ecosystem of Freddy’s Bar, where New York City’s small-room performance culture still runs on sign-up sheets and word of mouth. The series shares a home with weekly and monthly formats: Mimsey’s Open Mic and karaoke on the 1st and 3rd Sundays, Humans Against Music, comedy open mics on Mondays and Wednesdays, and “So What Happened Was…” storytelling on third Mondays after the comedy show, alongside one-off nights like Highland Shatner’s St. Pat’s show. It matters less as a “premiere” than as an ongoing record of how the city tests material in public. In a time of polished feeds, it keeps art accountable to a room.
