Kiss the Sun Tour

“Kiss the Sun Tour” arrives at Irving Plaza as a rock-pop set built for a room that rewards volume and close attention. Featured performer Asal anchors the bill, moving between songcraft and stage presence with a practical, unsentimental focus. The show registers as part of New York’s long tradition of testing new material in mid-size venues before it hardens into a fixed narrative. One clear takeaway is how the tour uses pop structure to carry rock’s physical urgency without overexplaining itself.
