*Humor Me* is a short comedic work that follows a strained friendship during a single afternoon in New York, built around petty resentments, money, and the social rituals of the city. Much of its tension comes from how carefully its characters talk around what they mean, then say it anyway. The piece premiered at New York’s TriBeCa Film Festival, where its local setting reads less like backdrop than pressure. One clear insight: the comedy lands hardest when it refuses to soften the characters’ pettiness.
