Holdfast

0 upcoming performances in New York

Holdfast takes its name from the rootlike anchors that fix ocean organisms to rock, a quiet image for music that tests what it means to stay put while everything moves. The all-ages rock/pop bill lands at Madison Square Garden, with Ipecac and Tiny Tomboy among the featured performers; doors open at 8 PM and the set begins at 8:30, with the lineup subject to change. No NYC premiere history has been confirmed. In a city built on flux, the theme reads as an intentional counterweight.
