“Comedy Central” here refers not to the U.S. cable brand but to its Indian counterpart, a pay-TV channel that once paired American imports with locally produced stand-up and acquired series before shutting down in March 2025. In New York, it reads as a small case study in how comedy travels and gets re-anchored across markets. This lineup at New York Comedy Club – Midtown brings Judah Friedlander, Nore Davis, Carmen Lagala, and Amy Cardinale into a mixed-bill format shaped by TV rhythms and club immediacy. The result is comedy as an export, and as a live, city-tested craft.
