Castlevania

1 upcoming performance in New York

At Racket NYC, Bit Brigade turns “Castlevania” into a live, hybrid document: a rock/pop concert synced to real-time NES gameplay, with speedrunner Noah McCarthy driving the run while the band performs the score as it unfolds. The format treats a familiar franchise less as nostalgia and more as a study in timing, memory, and endurance. New York has a long history of game music crossing into club stages, and this show lands inside that lineage. One clear effect is how the band’s precision makes the game’s structure audible.
