At City Winery NYC, Eric Roberson brings his “Beautifully All Over the Place” project to the stage in a Rock/Pop set that doubles as a book conversation and a tour performance. Roberson, once a rapper with a 1994 Warner Bros. single (“The Moon”), later built a career as a singer-songwriter, producer, and founder of the Blue Erro Soul imprint. The show traces that arc in real time, moving between personal narrative and songcraft. It carries the feel of an artist taking inventory, with New York serving as a fitting ledger for Black pop’s working history.
