Now at Danspace Project, *With in, Around, With out… me* arrives as a live dance event in New York City. Featured performer Stacy Matthew Spence moves through shifting ideas of boundary and self—what is held inside, what presses from the edges, and what is left behind when contact breaks. In a city where bodies are constantly negotiated in public space, the work reads as a study in proximity as much as identity. Its restraint lets small changes register as the main evidence.
