Adult Recess

1 upcoming performance in New York

Adult Recess arrives at Hudson Yards as a live dance event, with featured performer Rhone among the artists shaping the evening. The work treats “recess” as an adult condition rather than a childhood break, using movement to mark how play, stress, and release coexist in the same body. No specific New York premiere history has been announced, but its framing reads as a record of the city’s current appetite for dance outside traditional theater walls. One clear effect is how the setting makes the choreography feel observed, not insulated.
