Gag Reflex: a sketch show New York Performances

At Union Hall, Gag Reflex: a sketch show hosts a mixed-night format that threads comedy through electronic sets. The bill brings together Chelsea, amita, Matkins &, and Rao), pairing DJs attentive to pacing and texture with performers who move between stand-up, music, and pop-reference sketch work. There’s no documented NYC premiere history attached to this iteration, but it fits a familiar Brooklyn lineage of variety rooms where scenes cross-pollinate in real time. The earned insight is structural: the contrast in rhythms becomes the point, not just the backdrop.
