The Dark Forest Era New York Performances

The Dark Forest Era arrives at Public Records as a live electronic event framed like a report from the networked present. Featured performers Josh Citarella and Yancey Strickler work in the space where club sound, media research, and tech culture overlap, using the room as both venue and listening lab. In New York, where art and startups share the same vocabulary, the project reads as a small field study of attention and belief. One clear takeaway is its refusal to separate critique from the conditions of nightlife.
