DURATIONS: Ballet New York Performances

DURATIONS: Ballet lands at Public Records as an electronic-leaning bill built around long-form sets and image-driven performance. Buttechno and Significant Other present live A/V approaches that borrow DJ logic without staying inside club time. Klein brings a compositional ear for texture and voice, while Matana Roberts, joined by drummer Lesley Mok, threads AACM-rooted improvisation into the night’s circuitry. In a city where scenes often stay siloed, the program reads as a document of overlap rather than genre.
