The Villain's Ball: Galactica New York Performances

The Villain’s Ball: Galactica lands at Somewhere Nowhere NYC for Halloween Weekend, framing the club as a costumed, sci‑fi themed ritual rather than a standard dance night. The featured set pairs German producer and DJ André Tegeler, known as Moguai, with Stoon; Tegeler’s roots trace back to early 1990s DIY parties in the Ruhrgebiet and Münsterland, alongside the first wave of German techno names. No documented NYC premiere history is widely cited for the “Galactica” edition. Still, it reads as a contemporary import of European techno lineage into New York’s seasonal nightlife calendar, where theme becomes structure rather than decoration.
