De Papel New York Performances

De Papel comes to Lincoln Center Kids as a live performance built around paper—an everyday material treated as both prop and partner. The piece follows small acts of folding, tearing, and shaping, letting simple transformations suggest stories about how children make meaning from what’s at hand. It lands in New York as part of the city’s ongoing attention to family-centered work that treats young audiences as serious viewers. One quiet strength is its refusal to explain everything, leaving room for observation and inference.
