GUITARHYTHM New York Performances

GUITARHYTHM arrives at Gramercy Theatre as a live New York City engagement rooted in the Rock/Pop tradition. The program centers on featured performer HOTEI, whose catalogue treats the electric guitar as both lead voice and rhythmic engine, tracing a line from Japanese pop culture into contemporary concert life. In a city that routinely imports global acts, the set reads as a document of cross‑Pacific exchange rather than novelty. One clear takeaway is how the arrangement choices foreground groove over virtuoso display, shaping the room’s attention.
