Alan Cumming: Uncut New York Performances

At Town Hall, Alan Cumming brings “Alan Cumming: Uncut” to New York as a live, rock/pop-leaning evening built around performance rather than spectacle. The format is direct: one featured performer, in a room with a long history of hosting political, musical, and spoken-word events. In a city that treats personality as a genre, Cumming uses songs and stories to test how much of a public self can be edited out. The critical point is simple: the “uncut” promise holds only when the material stays specific.
