EA SPORTS FC 27 New York Performances

At The Paley Center for Media, *EA SPORTS FC 27* is presented as a live program that treats a sports videogame as a media object, not just a product. The event frames football’s global broadcast language—commentary, camera grammar, licensing, and fandom—through the lens of interactive play. In New York, where sports and media industries share the same streets, that context carries cultural weight, even without a specific NYC premiere history on record. One clear takeaway is how closely the game mirrors television’s assumptions about what the sport should look like.
