A Guide to Love, Loss & Desperation New York Performances

“A Guide to Love, Loss & Desperation” arrives at Brooklyn Paramount as a live rock/pop bill led by The Wombats, with support from The Lathums. The set leans into songs that circle romance, breakup aftershocks, and the quieter panic of trying to start over, framed by a loud-band format rather than confessional stage talk. As far as public records show, there’s no specific NYC premiere history tied to this title, but its themes land cleanly in a city built on reinvention. One fair observation: the material works best when it keeps its irony on a short leash.
