Ricano Vol. 2 - Fruto de mi Corazón New York Performances

“Ricano Vol. 2 – Fruto de mi Corazón” comes to The Jazz Gallery as a live set in New York City, led by featured performer Jonathan Suazo. Framed as a second volume, the project suggests an ongoing narrative rather than a standalone program, with jazz used as a language for memory, lineage, and personal testimony. No specific NYC premiere history is documented in public materials, but its placement at this venue situates it within the city’s working ecosystem of new composition and bandleading. One clear strength is its attention to continuity: a suite built to be revisited and expanded.
