GHOST New York Performances

GHOST turns the old idea of the returning spirit into a contemporary rock/pop performance, using the figure of the apparition as a way to talk about presence, absence, and the stories people project onto what they can’t fully see. The current live date lands at Prudential Center, with Kenshi Yonezu among the featured performers. New York has long treated ghost narratives as a cultural language, from immigrant folklore to downtown theater and music, so the framing reads clearly even across the river. The critical question it raises is whether the “ghost” is a character at all, or a mirror held up to the audience.
