Bein’ Like This New York Performances

At Union Hall, **Alvaro Chavez and Cameron Burger: Bein’ Like This** runs as a mixed-bill comedy set framed by a guest music slot. The lineup includes Chavez and Burger alongside **Gary Gulman, Simons, Richard, and Perez**, with **Clementine** contributing spare, guitar-led songs between stand-up turns. It sits in a long Brooklyn tradition of club shows where comics test new material in close quarters, and where the audience’s attention is part of the craft. The format’s stop-and-start rhythm can sharpen the contrasts, making the punchlines land harder.
