The Fort90 Film Club: "Fear City Cinema" volume 1, part 1 New York Performances

The Fort90 Film Club’s “Fear City Cinema” returns to Wonderville with Volume 1, Part 1, framed as a live, in-room broadcast rather than a standard concert. FORT90 Broadcast System (also billed as The Fort90 Broadcast System) works in a Rock/Pop register, using performance to score and comment on a film-club format shaped by New York’s long habit of mixing cinema, music, and downtown venues. There’s no documented NYC premiere history attached to this installment, but the presentation reflects a local tradition of scene-making through hybrid nights. The result is disciplined, and a little deliberately artificial, in a way that suits the title.
