The Immigrant Artist Biennial: Memories of Disruption New York Performances

At BRIC, *The Immigrant Artist Biennial: Memories of Disruption* brings dance into conversation with migration and the breaks it leaves in family, language, and place. The program frames personal testimony as movement material, treating memory as something carried in the body as much as the archive. In a city built by successive arrivals, its cultural significance is legible even without a documented NYC-premiere claim. One clear strength is its refusal to tidy disruption into a single narrative.
